Diva Maldives

Diva Maldives has brought together two well-known Maldives properties in, by encompassing an Island Village (formerly Ari Beach Resort) and a Water Village (formerly Dhidhoofinolhu Water Village). The new ownership & management team brings with it professional experience from around the globe and combines operations and reservations of both well-established and popular resorts.

Accomodation

The Island Village houses a selection of thatched Island Village Rooms and Superior A-Frame Rooms nestled amongst the bright bougainvillea and tropical gardens. Located either directly on, or in close proximity to the beachfront, all accommodation is in single storey buildings and compliments the local environment.

Even the most discerning traveller will be captivated by the picturesque accommodation provided by the Over Water Bungalows and Suites. Connected to the main island by a private wooden platform, these timber rooms are reminiscent of traditional Maldivian houseboats on stilts and are beautifully appointed, providing private decks with direct access into the crystal clear lagoon.

A myriad of activities & dining options are available and packages are provided on a room only, half board, full board or all-inclusive basis.

Dining

With three Restaurants and weekly special dinner events, White Sands Resort and Spa offers a large variety of dining options. Guests at the Resort can enjoy sumptuous breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets in our Vilu Mathi and Kaana Kotari Restaurants, as well as an extensive choice of snacks in our Vilu Bar and CafÈ or Sunset Restaurant and Lounge. The a la carte dining experience includes Asian cuisine, International cuisine, fresh Ocean seafood and grilled entrees.

Vilu Mathi Restaurant

A slightly more refined and relaxed dining experience where guests can enjoy meals sitting out over the water with beautiful panoramic views of the clear lagoon below. Apart from the exciting buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners we also have an attractive a la carte menu. Guests staying on the island can also reserve a table at a small supplement.

Kaana Kotari

A slightly more casual buffet Restaurant set amongst the gardens of the Island Village with varying themes such as sizzling BBQ?s Grills and Maldivian Nights.

Sunset Restaurant And Lounge

Overlooking the beach and Indian Ocean, this a la carte restaurant comes to life at night with the aroma of exotic seafood, Asian cuisine and other specialties prepared by the Resort?s International Chefs. Customers throughout the Resort can book their special occasion or celebratory meal, or simply come and experience fantastic cuisine.

Located on the picturesque lagoon jetty of the Water Village, serving drinks, light meals and snacks
